Add a Location, then set its Opening times before you make the Booking Page public. This gives Setora the hours it can use when it looks for available Staff member time.
- Create or edit the weekly pattern under Organisation > Opening hours templates.
- Open Organisation > Locations in Setora Hub.
- Create a Location, then review the billing change before you confirm.
- Select the Location and open Setup > Opening hours.
- Assign the template and check its dates, priority and Active state.
- Confirm the Location is active before you check online booking.
When you finish, the Location should have the correct saved address, at least one applicable active Opening hours assignment and the right online booking setting. Opening times set the outer limits for the times Customers can choose.
1. Create or open the Location
Go to Organisation > Locations and choose New Location. You need an active Setora subscription and permission to create Locations.
Enter the Location address. Before Setora creates it, Confirm Billing Change shows the increased Location quantity and monthly total. The charge may be prorated. Review and confirm this subscription change only when you are ready to add the Location.
Locations created in the current Hub use the Europe/London time zone. After onboarding, the Location's Setup overview displays the saved address and time zone but does not let you edit them. If either is wrong, contact Support rather than creating a duplicate Location.
Check before moving on: Confirm the address belongs to the place where the Services happen and check the billing change.
Expected result: The Location is saved in Organisation > Locations with the address Customers should use.
2. Set the weekly Opening times
Create or edit the weekly pattern under Organisation > Opening hours templates. Review every day of the week and leave closed days out of the template.
First confirm the template itself is Active under Organisation > Opening hours templates. Select the Location with the sidebar Location switcher, then open Setup > Opening hours. Choose Assign template, select the template, set its Start date, optional End date and Active state, then select Assign.
The Location needs at least one applicable assignment where both the template and its Location assignment are Active. Multiple active dated assignments can overlap. Setora uses the higher-priority applicable assignment first, so move holiday or seasonal hours above regular hours when needed. A Staff member's working times and the Service duration still have to fit inside the effective hours.
Check before moving on: Check the assignment covers the date you are testing and that its priority is correct.
Expected result: Setup > Opening hours shows an active assignment with the intended dates and weekly pattern.
3. Make sure the Location can receive Bookings
Go back to the Location overview. Check the Active toggle is on, and turn on Online Bookings when you are ready to accept Customer Bookings. Keep Online Bookings off while you are still checking the setup.
A disabled Location does not appear in searches and does not accept new Bookings. The Booking Page uses the Location's address and availability, and it does not replace the Location's Opening times.
Expected result: The Location shows as Active. Turn on Online Bookings only when the Location, Services and Staff members are ready for Customers to book.
What happens next
Once the Location, Opening times, Services and Staff members are ready, check the available times on the Booking Page. A time only appears when the Location is open, the Service fits inside the remaining hours and a suitable Staff member is working.
Continue with adding a Service, price and duration, then setting up Staff members.
Common availability problems
- The Location is missing: Check that the Location is Active, that Online Bookings is on when you want Customers to book, and that the Booking Page is using this Location.
- A day is closed unexpectedly: Check the assigned template includes that day and its assignment covers the date you tested.
- The Location is open but no time is available: Check that the Staff member's working time overlaps the Location's Opening times and that the Service duration fits before closing time. The Service and Staff member must also be set up for this Location and online booking.
- Holiday hours are ignored: Check the dated assignment is Active, covers the tested date and has higher priority than the regular-hours assignment.
- Times are outside the hours you set: Check the applicable template's weekly pattern, assignment dates and priority.
If the problem continues, open the chat and tell us the Location, Service, Staff member and date you checked. Include the Opening times and the time you expected to see so Support can trace the availability rules.
